Morning Quickies is a 45-60 minute movement exploration held in the early hours, in a room with a wooden floor and no mirrors and no wrong way to do this. There's music. There's space. There's nothing you need to know, wear, or be before you walk through the door.
We have to have a body while we're here. Most mornings, we forget that until the body makes us remember.
This is an invitation to get there first.
The music will be different each time because you're different each time.
No choreography. No performance. Minimal prompting. No expertise required.
Just you, your body, and 45 minutes before the day claims you.
Drop in. Move. Then go live your life.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We open with a word, a color, a shape—whatever lives in your body right now. Your name, your pronouns if you like, and a move. Whatever the body offers. The room gives it back. Then the music begins.
Tuesday mornings are open movement. Come as you are, move as you need.
Saturday mornings are themed—a genre, a band, a vibe announced each week. More reason to show up. Definitely more reason to dress for it.
We close the same way we opened. That word, that color, that shape—where is it now?
